    Sealed tenders are invited from the reputed registered firms for providing :-

    1. Watch & Ward services, Housekeeping, Gardening (Session 2010-11)
    2. Purchase of stationary articles and printing of question papers, Vidyalaya Magazine, student diary etc. (session 2010-11)
    3. Internal / External color wash / Painting of Vidyalaya building for the session 2010-11

    Firm must have Income Tax / Service Tax number, Registered in Corporation, ESI
    number, PF number etc.

    Interested firms may obtain tender from Vidyalaya on any working day between 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and submit the same within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement on payment of Rs. 100 each per tender (non refundable).

     The school sincerely welcomes Sh. M.L.Agrawal Principal transferred from KV No.5 Gwalior. Sh. M.L.Agrawal sat down for the first time at his new desk on 26 Aug 09 as Principal of KV Vigyan Vihar. He committed to the achievement of quality academic outcomes and continuous improvement in the teaching and learning practice. 

    We congratulate Dr.D.D.Kaushik, Ex-Principal of the School who has been promoted as Education Officer and took his chair at KV JNU (DR)

  3. Earth Day Celebration (22nd March)

    Environment has always been considered as a gift of nature but has never been given its due importance the excessive use of natural resources had given enough reasons to mankind to think in terms of protecting nature. List of activities includes on the spot painting competition and talk show with the aim of environment awareness

  4. Science March on National Science Day-:

    On 28th Feb, 09 students participated in “Science March” organized by National Science Centre from India Gate to National Science Centre on the occasion of National Science Day 2009. March was organized with the aim of Science popularization among the people and creating awareness towards environmental issues. How the children can contribute to make the environment clean and ultimately make the earth a better place to live in, after the march they participated in open house quiz and bagged several prizes and brought laurels to the School.

  5. INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION
    KVS has been celebrating International Women’s Day every year. This year also it is being celebrated on 08th March 2008. Competitions are being organized at Cluster Level and Regional Level Competitions in which children of our Vidyalaya participated.

    5 NATIONAL BIOTECH OLYMPIAD

    Every year National Biotech Olympiad is conducted in our Vidyalaya for classes VI to XII
    In year 2009 : Date of Examination : 15th Jan 2009
                            No. of students participated : 147. Result announced and Vice Principal gave away prizes to the following student for their outstanding performance in the Olympiad Exam.

    6 ANNUAL QUIZ AT NATIONAL SCIENCE CENTRE:
    Two children from our Vidyalaya participated in Annual Quiz at National Science Centre on 18th Jan 2009 where 300 schools were participated.

    7 INTER SCHOOL EVENT AT 11TH FLOWER SHOW
    On 14th and 15th Feb 09 students of our Vidyalaya participated in a InterSchool Environmental Quiz and Environmental Skit Competition. Our School won the I position and bagged Rolling Trophy. The Trophy was conferred to team ( Harsada and Ayushika) by Honorable Sandeep Dixit (MLA) Delhi Govt.

    8 SCOUTS & GUIDES
    On 13 th & 14 th October 2007- 7 students from class IV and V participated in Cub-Bulbul Utsav (District).
    Rajya Puraskar texting camp was held on 8-9-07 to 11-9-07 at KV Sahalimar Bagh and Pitampura. 3 Gides and 8 Scouts attended the same.

    9 GREEN OLYMPIAD
    Green Olympiad is being held every year in the School to create environment awareness among students.

    10 JUNIOR MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD
    11th Jr Math Olympiad is held every year. It is going to be held in the month of September2008. 106 students are eligible grom both shifts.

    11 HEALTH AND HYGINE
    Malaria and Dengue awareness programmes being held in Kendriya Vidyalaya Vigyan Vihar. Mr Sharma, Area Inspector MCD was guest.

    12 NTSC (National Talent Search)
    NTSC Examination conducted by NCERT is being held every year. This year for VIII class exam is going to be held on 16th November, 2008 (Sunday).

    13 SCIENCE WEEK CELEBRATION
    Science Quiz at school level and Science exhibition being conducted every year in the School. The National Science Week was celebrated in the School from 23rd Feb to 28th Feb 2008. Dr. A. Manoharan Senior Scientist from Central Pollution Control Board was the chief guest. He was accompanied by Dr Gargi, Mr. Bhatt and Mr. R.P. Gupta from the Department.

    14 SOCIAL SCIENCE EXHIBITION
    KV Vigyan Vihar was the cluster VII venue for holding the Social Scienec Exhibition and other related activities. It was held on 13th August, 2008. Five schools participated. Dr.O.P.Kalra, PRINCIPAL
    UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI was the guest of the occasion.
